Just over three years after releasing his debut album ‘99.9%’, KAYTRANADA has blessed us with his second album release ‘BUBBA’.

When I first saw the trackless for ‘BUBBA’ I was super excited! It features so many of my favourite artists, from Iman Omari & SiR, through to Mick Jenkins & Teedra Moses. The features on this album alone gives it a unique selling point in my opinion.

BUBBA shows again KAYTRANADA’s ability to bring that unique sound he creates, combining electronic funk, dance and much more. One of the things that I like about this album is that KAYTRA is still staying true to his sound, although he’s evolved as an artist over the years.

I like the album as a whole but my personal faves are Freefall feat. Durand Bernarr, 2 The Music feat. Iman Omari, & Culture feat. Teedra Moses. It’s hard to choose faves because there’s so many great tracks on here, but those have been on rotation in particular.
