“If you widdit baby, come & vibe get wavey”
Lava La Rue is definitely someone that people should be watching out for. She’s uber talented, and founder of DIY art & music collective, Nine8. She’s making waves on the scene, and is a great representation for queer people of colour. She’s had over 1 million views on her performance at COLORS studio (if you haven’t watched it check it out here) and to think this is only a fraction of what she’s accomplished at 20 years old. Pretty dope if you ask me. She’s just getting started!
Thursday night was more proof to me that London is oozing with talent.
If you didn’t come and vibe and get wavey on Thursday night with Lava La Rue then you most certainly missed out.
The night was energetic from start to finish, with DJ Parallel theory spinning on the decks, Bebe Luna gracing the stage with her fiery presence and leading lady Lava La Rue performing some wicked bangers!
Check out my thoughts and some visuals from the night here!
